Whoooa!!! What a Show!!! Below are several pictures from the show.
A couple of nights ago, I saw Joanne Shaw Taylor and Eric Sardinas at the Rams Head in Annapolis, Md. It was a great show!!! It was well worth the 3.5 hour drive.
Joanne Shaw Taylor is a young, British Blues guitarist with strong vocals. She plays hot licks on her Tele. She seems to "have it", so she should be a rising Blues/guitar star. She puts to rest the misconception that "a woman can't play smoking hot blues guitar"! Check-out her latest album, White Sugar.
Eric Sardinas.....is an amazing musician! He plays & sings with 10+ "head" and "heart". He's the type of artist that you got to see live, records just can't capture the energy and soul!!! Blazing slide guitar on blues & blues-rock songs. He switches between amplied and unamplified which really has a powerful, emotional effect.
Don't pass-up the opportunity to see either of these "Blues-Powered" artists.
