I'd suggest keeping your eyes open on Ebay for a used Orange AD30 single channel combo. You won't get an FX loop or reverb on 1 (not stock anyway) but they take pedals very well and sound awesome

I use Chorus, Tremolo and Delay pedals infront of the amp and it sounds great to my ears.

I set the amp crunchy, and then kick it into Overdrive with pedals (which is something I'm assuming you'd be doing with your new pedal? ) So you may not actually miss the FX loop at all

Yeah, I suppose I won't be using the full drive of the amp, so it wouldn't really matter.

In my opinion, it wouldn't matter much at all

I personally like the sound of using Modulation/Delay FX infront of a slightly crunchy amp. It kinda gives a 'dirty' edge to the tone if you know what I mean? It works for me great, but give 1 a go if you can and see how it works for you
