"Screeeeeeeeammmm for me Long Beach"!!!

:headbang:

:D

Twisted Sister was the support band on that leg of the World Slavery Tour.
I remember two funny things about that. A lot of Latinos are big Maiden fans, and there was a lot of them that showed up in Twisted Sister type outfits.....mostly because there were a couple Latinos in TS. It was pretty funny.

Also, most Maiden fans didn't like Twisted Sister because they were considered an MTV joke band......at least by most west coasters. So every time Dee would start talking, people starting heckling him. He got really angry a few times up there. Now you know why Twisted Sister didn't release a live album or video of that tour. hahaha

Be nice ya'll!! Maidens artwork is what mostly gets em labeled as a satanic band. Especially Number of the Beast. That album cover was a bit controversial.. (as well as the song)

I saw Maiden in concert with Ynqwie opening.. IIRC, Live After came out a couple years later.. I had to get it and was very pleased that it was such a good recording of the concert experience.. One of the bands that sound as great live!

I can definately see how TWisted would not have been very excepted to a Maiden crowd. Sister is in their element live tho.. "Have you ever been, to a Twisted Sister show?" "Well, you aint seen S*** till youve seen those SMF's going out of their D**n minds on the floor." haha
