what are halo guitars like?

was just searching through ebay and come across halo guitars... yes they're cheap in price but what are they like? what do they compare to?

the 7 strings are on ebay for $479

the hollow on stonerecording.com as $399

the others on ebay for under $200

I thought the invert looks alright (similar to the fernandes ravelle)... I was just curious what wood the bodies are made of and how they play...

My guess would be not very good, but you never know! Trying one out would be the hard part.
