What are my single coil options?

I have one of these (Jackson Phil Collen Archtop):



As you can see in the image, the neck cavity is flat at the top and bottom so I need a SC pickup like this:



​But NOT like this:



So what are my options?

An STK-S4 would be perfect. As would a Cool Rails.

what kind of sound are you looking for? i believe you can get all duncan single coils (actual single coils) with that base as a shop floor custom. there are also some single coil size humbucker options as well

I have one on my Squier and I am in love with it. However this won't fit into my Jackson because of the bottom raise.

Could you please send me a link? I checked but couldn't find any dealer selling it with an oval base.

they will probably have to order it, which is why you need to go through an authorized dealer. you might be able to get it directly through duncan as well?

Yeah, the Shop Floor Custom options are your best bet here if the pickup you absolutely love has the bigger baseplate. The APS-2 is a great pickup, but will be quieter than your humbucker if you care about that sort of thing.

Well yes, that will be an issue. I am planning to use my equalizer pedal set to flat with volume at -3dB. When I switch to the HB, I will engage the pedal and it should hopefully match the output level of the HB to APS-2.

This is one way to do it. What is the bridge pickup?

They call it an emg rout I think.

Or ask whichever company you go with for singles w/o the wire flange
