The JD is a *really* nice pickup! I don't have any experience with the Ant.

sweet. and they are alnico 2 mags. i might give them a try. hope it pairs well with tube screamer type overdrives.

Duncan makes an Alnico 2 Pro for tele? Almost always described as warm sounding, probably best looking at those, since I hear mixed things about the Ant tele.
And as far as I know, the JD has got a medium output, so it might push your amp a bit more, don't know if you're into that however.
