I have George L's, Canare GS-6 and Mogami 2524 all for between $9-11 a patch cable made to the lengths you request.

Oh they're supposed to cut the shielding?? Whaaaaaat!!!

I am an idiot then.... I guess it kinda makes sense because the cable can't back out, once the cap has cut into it. But yeah, the caps get unscrewed after a while. I just have to check if they got loose before a gig, because it sucks if you got a bad connection all of a sudden.

I was gonna start a thread entitled I HATE GEORGE L'S. They are good cables, but God forbid if you ever accidentally tug on one too hard accidentally. I spent 2 hours yesterday ripping my board apart redoing loose ends. They really aren't bad cables. I just hate that one aspect especially for pedal boards that change a lot.
