What are your favorite cheap reverb and delay pedals?

I’m working on a project that might need a lot of reverbs/delays. Looking for some cheap reverb and delay pedals. Not just straight digital, modulations and filtered if possible…. MFX is ok if it can be easily manipulated real time.

What have you tried and liked?

I have a fetish for cheap reverb
i have the Biyang Tri Reverb
The Caline Snake Bite
Which i am digging at the moment

I have a Digitech DL8 for delay

I had a Joyo DSeed but a clumsy drummer was the endthf that.

I dont as yet have a pedal that does both in the same box, which is what you apparently are looking for

Define cheap.

There are a ton of ways to go.

Less than $50, somewhere around $30 would be good. Used is fine. Hopefully they have character and aren’t just straight digital delay and room reverb.

Think four instruments, each needing dedicated reverb and delay. I’m going to start out with what I have (which is decent) then try to use a mixer and aux sends to commonize effects as much as possible, but if you want one instrument to have delay and another to have reverb, the audio send doesn’t quite cut it.

Together would be fantastic but separate is fine too. The DL8 is almost $100 used now on reverb and ebay. Obviously CL/FB hunting is a possibility.

I’m rethinking this. While I may want to apply effects to any voice, I probably don’t need to apply it to all voices. Maybe a clever patching system with my current stuff would work. I mean I have a Blue Sky, El Capistan, HoF mini and Flashback Mini. The Strymons in an aux send and the TCs in a patch bay with that Zoom would probably be more than sufficient.

This could be a good solution:

A Strymon TmeLine and Big Sky together are $928 if purchased new. I have $1,512 on other delay and reverb pedals that are not Strymon. Strymon is obviously the budget-conscious choice.

Here is a shocker for you. I like my $150 Neunaber WET V5 better than i do my $299 Strymon Blue Sky. They just had a price increase to $169 direct but the Wet and Seriphm Newnauber verbs are absolutely SCREAMING deals that KILL! https://neunaber.net/products/wet-reverb-v5

Hardly a shocker. You bring that up every time someone mentions Strymon. :chairfall But a Blue Sky isnt a Big Sky, is it? Besides, a Newneighbor would fall in the non-Strymon column, for a pre-tax total of $1,681. False economy!

Own both a Blue Sky and a Wet so have a perspective on both head to head. I would take a Neunaber Illumine over a Big Sky. Think they sound better and have more features. https://neunaber.net/collections/pedals/products/illumine

Well my original Flashback was from the very last batch and Sweetwater cleared them on a $99 price-drop. That's cheap enough IMO.
