What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

Orange TH30

My one and only GAS right now.

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

I'd actually like to sell some of the guitars that I never play.

A couple mor pedals; I want a muff-style fuzz, some modulation and a new delay to replace the super cheap one on my board that's starting to die.

I want to put a new bridge on my number one Tele, and do something interesting with my other Tele. I might route it for 'Trons or something. I dunno.

I also feel the need for a project and I'd like to build something with humbuckers. No real decisions made on that front though.

Overall, I'm happier with my rig than I think I've ever been. There really isn't much I really feel like I need. I just want to experiment some more. I'm at the point where I'm just adding icing to an already pretty delicious cake.

For 2013 . . . i am saving for a custom-built amp.

It will be a hand-built clone of the allmighty Electric Amp MVU 120.

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

For 2013, I want to sell more than I acquire...

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

I have always wanted a Sienna Sunburst Stratocaster. I won't go out of my way to buy one, but over Christmas I'm gonna try some of the music stores in Manchester, then back home in Leeds and see what they have. I won't buy one just for the sake of things though, it has to look right, have lovely grain, feel amazing and sound great.

The only other thing I really see myself buying is something like a Fulltone OCD or some Tubescreamer.

I'm actually really glad that i have no priorities. I dig the gear I have and I have no burning need to change it. To me its a relief instead of GAS chasing I'm pretty content. Sure if I run across something cool that strikes me fancy ill pick it up but I have no burning holes that feel like there is a need to be filled.

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

Unload 3/4 of my electric gear.

I have amps/pedals/guitars sitting around I haven't touched in awhile (some of it years). I'd like to get down to 1 or 2 nice guitars and keep two of my amps.

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

Just picked up my 2013 stuff a little early.

Downsized massively to a Vox AC15 HW amp.....would need to do some big gigs to need anything more - I'm of the low/mid drive school so 100W is for Madison Sq Gardens
Just got a Vow HW wah too.

Nice!

I want to sell half my guitars and all my amps and get an AC15 and finish my build and call it a life

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

2012 included me selling off all my excess pedals for a cray strat and pod hd. I couldn't be happier. The cray has an amazing med to thick profile and the hardtail makes it sustain for days. The pod HD really does sound great except for the modulation section...great headphone rocking when my 7 mo old daughter is asleep.

This year I'm thinking new cab for the tweaker. Maybe a 2x12 w/ hemp cone speakers.

I miss my barber half gainer and I really want a DMM and muffs are always craved!

I have a mooer eleclady on the way. But if that does not fill my mistress void ill need a Hartman or ehx DEM. other than that I'm content.

Good luck with that. Building is an obsession.

Line 6 M13
Marshall 4x12 V30/GB
Les Paul of some sort
Epi Dot Deluxe
Fender Blues/Deville/Deluxe 2x12, Tweed
Vox AC15/30
Seagull Acoustic
ZVex Fuzz Factory

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

I don't really need anything but I would like to get a real Firevbird 5 & maybe a silverface Princeton Reverb. If the right deal comes along I'm on it..

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

Only thing I'd like to add is a Gibson J-45. I'm set with electric guitars, effects and amps.

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

Probably a Line 6 M9 or a separate delay and reverb pedal.
A bypass looper (programmable probably)
A neck humbucker
A new neck for my tele (sick of the thinness of the warmoth)
Maybe another amp.......

Re: What are your next gear acquisition priorities for your future gear? 2013?

My gear goals for 2013 are:

1. To acquire a Blonde or olympic white Fender Telecaster or a US made G&L ASAT with a ashtray bridge and a one piece maple neck.
2. To acquire another Rivera head (S120, TBR1-SL, TBR1-M, M100 or a Bonehead) *The first and last ones would be my top choices
3. EXH POG 2
4. Godin LG with P90's or one of them Progression models.
5. To finish modifiying my Crybaby wah.
6. To finish recording at least 4 of my 10 original songs that have been on a long standby since I started working 12 hour day shifts again :S

2012 was a year for gear for me. I filled a couple voids in my vintage Ibanez collection and went through a couple amps in my quest for The Tonez. Now I'm in the endgame trying to find a cab to match my H&K head, and rounding out my pedal board to match.

For 2013, my only concrete goal is to acquire more groupies!

I'd like to get one of those Squier Vintage Modified Strats with the white finish anfd the Black pickups. I had the chance to try them out and they're really great sounding guitars.
