It can split the sky if you want it to, and it's the best sounding amp I've ever used for sure.
The history of Orange, and its rise to fame is an interesting one. They were sponsors of the German concert series Beat Club and made all the guests use them. They universally hated them. Current Orange amps sound nothing like the vintage ones, and that's a great thing.

Right now my favorite rig is my first gen PRS Archon 50 head and a small pedal board. The board run a Wampler Ergo and Bell OD up front, in the loop I'm running a Xtotic Super Clean bosst buffer into a Boss DD7 and a Strymon Blue Sky.
This is live at super low volume in a small room with 2 acoustic players with the head on my Mesa Wide body 1/12 no PA with my Kiesel DC 600. A little buzzy at this low a volume but still very controllable. I'm looking for a PRS First Gen US built Archon 25 1/12 combo though for small gigs.

actually, it was to play music 
but the female attention wasnt a bad thing. i had a pair of snakeskin boots that looked awesome, but killed my feet. they were given away and i got some that are actually comfortable to wear. they dont look quite as fancy, but they are still pretty sweet
