What Charvel model is this?

I´m currently working as a cleaner and today I was cleaning the local service center for the mentally disabled. There´s all kinds of activity possibilities in the center, like wood shops, handicraft shops, music rooms etc. I was wiping the floor of the music room when this Charvel on the wall caught my eye.

I basically know nothing about Charvel models and ****, and quick search from the Google didn´t help at all. I only had a quick look and was able to snap just these photos. I´m a young guy working in an old school firm, and my working pair is an older granny who`s looking after me with a hawkeye. Wouldn`t do myself any favours by getting caught snapping guitar photos during work. :D

All I know it´s HSS Charvel. 22 frets, rosewood board. Only thing I thought could help with identifying is the bridge. It´s a pretty strange one to my eye. There was a some sort of "MIG with Floyd Rose par"-text. Never seen a similar one.

Thanks for the info! It´s condition looked great, no dings, no scratches. I´ll try to get my hands onto it. It looked like a player.

I'll be honest. Those things sucked! That trem is awful and hardly as reliable as a Floyd or even the Jackson JT-6 trem. I'm shaking my head at 2 of the fine tuners being replaced with phillips bolts. It's perfectly fine right where it is.

That's the Parker model.








park her in the corner and buy a decent guitar.

I´m not actually looking for a guitar and more of that spend any money on one, was just curious about identifying this axe and find some info about it. What I`ve read around the internet this evening about Charvettes they really seem to be a hit and hope.

If you are interested in a pointy headstock Charvel, there are lots of options that go for pretty cheap and are phenomenal guitars. Look up the model series if your interested.

I'm glad to hear you actually are not of a mindset that supports depriving mentally disabled people from trying to rock out on a pink Charvel. If you want to be nice, you can donate some fine tuners.

...That's actually a really cool guitar.

Do yourself a favor and find a nice Charvel 375 or better yet, 475. Awesome guitars and not bad at all pricewise if you don't mind looking for a short while.

i have a charvette made of plywood and loaded with the goods.

Its a fun guitar to play.

looks to be in good shape. Heck Id take it, just to have a pointy charvel in the stable again.. Since my 4s , 6 and 5 were sold....waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

throw a hot pup in it and wip out some look what the cat dragged in...

Plywood guitar is probably the worst failure in guitar building, that's why you don't see them too often nowadays. The glue can disintegrate and the plies swell under moisture.

Not all plywood is created equal either. I do agree with you but really when you have 20 or so instruments and make them whats one plywood lipstick loaded pig gonna matter :friday:
