What Classic Amp needs to make a comeback?

Re: What Classic Amp needs to make a comeback?

Silvertone 1483 ( how bout just the entire Valco line up)
Carlsbro TR60
Traynor Bassmate and Bassmasters ( Vintage ones)
Laney Supergroup and I would love a Klipp as well.
Garnet BTO
Sound City L100

Can you whip these guys up?

in both cases, seriously NASTY tone :D

aluminum chassis, hand wired, all tube ... just get decent trannies, which I know you can do ;)

I'd have to say any Fender Silverface from the 70's. Always loved the look of those amps. :)

1483 looks easy enough, but that phase inverter might be a real tough one to find.

Re: What Classic Amp needs to make a comeback?

Blonde and brownface Fender amps, pick your model. I'll take a piggyback bassman.

Re: What Classic Amp needs to make a comeback?

I don't think it's your monitor, Scott. It's a crappy PDF, but it's all I could find :(

Re: What Classic Amp needs to make a comeback?

Nobody's mentioned the Hiwatts yet? They're seriously cool, you know. ;)
