Ok, so I bought an old PRS CE22 a while back from HC and got a pretty good deal. I decided that the standard look was alright but I would change some stuff. So I ordered ebony knobs and pickup rings. The ones I bought off ebay were a little to big, but were cheap enough I didn't care I would just throw them on another guitar. So, the guy I bought them off of directed me towards another website, they specialized in PRS rings and knobs and so on. So I contacted them and asked how much ebony rings would cost, I was quoted $50 something, so I was like sure. To have rings made for my guitar especially and from ebony I was ok with that. He told me he'd send them out, and I made sure to tell him which model I have and that the ring on the neck has that little groove cut out. I was assured in a rather condescending manner that they knew PRS models VERY well and knew what rings it needed and basically answered me like I was a moron. Anyway, after waiting longer than the time they quoted me I sent an email asking when I should expect them (since $50 was still kind of a lot for rings I assumed I would be updated frequently) I took a while to get an answer, finally I was told that they were busy and to be patient that they'd get sent out. I was fine with that, but weeks going by and days without answers bothers me. So, I get them in the mail, try them on the guitar and are completely the wrong size, not even close not even an indent in one of the rings like we had talked about. I emailed back in a rather polite manner saying that I received the rings, they looked great but they were the wrong size what should I do next? He told me to send them back and they'd make new ones, so I decided in shipping them back to send my original rings. I sent an email saying they'd been shipped as a headsup, then another about a week later asking if they got there, then another a few days later asking what the status was. NO RESPONSE! This has been going on since MID NOVEMBER, what am I supposed to do? Has anyone else had experience with this company? Am I over reacting? I paid through pay pal, but I forget how long I have to get my money back or the action I take, as well as the fact that they have my original rings.
