What do I need to run my 805 at 18V?

I've got this 805 that I love. I want to try it at 18V. I only have a Godlyke Power-All. Can I use some sort of adapter or something to run it at 18V off my Power-All or do I need one of those fancy power supplies with 18V outputs?

Also, what can I expect when running the 805 at 18V?

Thanks. :)

Idk if this will work, but u could get a daisy chain, then get a voodoolab voltage doubler cable and run it using 2 of the daisy chain outputs

I think you need isolated outputs for that.

Correct, you need isolated outputs.

Is the 805 rated for 18V? If so, buy an 18V adapter rated at 100ma or so. It’ll be cheaper than a stepup converter that goes from 9V to 18V.

In general you will get a louder output with a little more headroom before clipping.

Actually, I have tried it at 18v, but didn't notice that big of a difference. Certainly (at least the way I used it) not worth the effort to find the right power supply if you don't have one laying around.

I just bought this to up 12v out in CS7 for 24v. Works perfectly.

Just make sure you have enough output. Because it only has one input, I think it'll draw twice the ampere pedal is rated to. ie. for 100ma you'd need 200ma minimum with it.
Any idea if it will work with simple daisy chain power supplies like the standard One Spot or Power-All?

I don't see why it wouldn't. But I don't know the exactly how it works so might be good to make sure.

I accidentally wired backwards yesterday. Didn't got any power, but no damage either if that tells anything...
