what do u think of this setup im considering

ok guys i have a strat and so, i want the pickup that wil give me closest to slash in the neck (i know i cant get him with a strat dont correct me) and then another like maiden. just generals cuz ima go massive gain neways. so i was considering CoolRail in the neck with 250K and .047 and Hotrail bridge and then have the wiring make the middle position of the 5 way chose them both. what would u suggest i chnage/dont do. thanks guys

i would suggest 500k pots and .022 cap before going 250k and .047. both hot and cool rails are humbuckers in a single coil size. 250k may roll off too much highs. caps are cheap. you may want to experiment with cap values in order to find the ideal roll off of high frequencies.

If you'll be using massive gain, use whatever pickups and caps you want.

but cant u stick on as big of caps as u want and it wont really change the tone when its on 10? well thats for the caps

will the pots change it before u go off 10?
