Love the green by itself. Not a fan of the "fade." Sunburst, maybe, but that fade just looks silly. Like someone dipped the guitar into a scummy pond.

it's not vibrant enough of a green...

it looks like somebody's lawn that gradually transitions to sidewalk at the top.

Here's my 2 2000 McCarty Customs. I still stand by the idea that the best PRS's are the McCarty and Singlecut.

I've got a zebra C5/59 in it.. This one is called Teal Black. It was a dragon color that is rare to see outside Dragon Models. They did it on McCartys in 2000. The sand colored suede strap looks sweet on this one, with zebra pickups and natural flamed binding.

Thats what i was thinking... that edge of the lawn that doesnt get hit by the sprinkler so well...

I would rock it. It's decent. If I was paying for it, I would chose a differ finish.

I'd prefer just a whole green finish, fade doesn't really add anything. Looks like someone got bored and just wanted to do something different.

i like it, but i'd like it better if the "ombre" progressed in the other direction. i'd like it even more if it was a burst, and if it was blue or a brighter green.

Cool idea, but in terms of 'off-centre' bursts, I much prefer the Gibson Fireburst:

It's beautiful but not what I'd get if I was spending the big bucks. That's a choice piece of wood for the top though.

Am I the only one that thinks the white rings do not go with this finish? I think the fade would look better if fading into another color like Gibson did with the SG Supreme.
