If Gibson did that finish on one of their guitars, this would be a three page bashing thread.

yep.. Im used to that kind of finish from PRS. Almost all of thier guitars are out of my reach, so I dont pay em much attention.

Id like to see one like this in black. called Fade to black.... :naughty:

I don't particularly like it, but I wouldn't turn my nose up at it if it were given to me.

I think that it looks like they just gave up half way through a DiMeola paint job . . .

I like it, but I prefer a solid color more. I thought the Dimeola rainbow thing was hideous...

Am I the only one that thinks the white rings do not go with this finish? I think the fade would look better if fading into another color like Gibson did with the SG Supreme.

They did the SG Supreme in green-to-black, too. Not my favorite. But I do like teh Fireburst, apparently

There is an SG Supreme in Fireburst for sale in a local shop here, it has been there for a while for what I consider to be a good price. I played it once and it was very bright, are your guitars very bright?
