Hey everyone,
I have planned to upgrade the electronics on my guitar for a while now ( a godin lg humb). So when i decided what to get as an upgrade i chose to upgrade my stock godin pickups for beter more lively ones, and i also wanted to add locking tuners. But on top of that, i also wanted to make my guitar a multi-voice guitar by adding a a bridge with an acoustic pickup in it, to open a whole new group of sounds to my guitar.
For the pickup, i originally chose a CC for the neck and a 59 for the bridge. but after 2 days i decided to bring the 59 back and change it for a PG, wich is much beter, because my guitar was way to concentrated on mids and bass, with no treble.
For the acoustic bridge, i chose a Lr baggs t bridge, with the Lr baggs active pre-amp( ctrl-X ). Im sure its gonna sound awsome, but i also though of something else.
Wouldnt it be amazing if SD looked into the market of acoustic bridges and maybe even make one or a few different models that would be designed to work with SD pickups? I think this would be a great idea, because it would allow everyone to use their guitar as an acoustic or electric guitar, or mix both for a whole new category of sounds, specially if SD made them specially to work with their own pups.
Am i the only one who has ever thought about this? If someone has any thoughts on this, please share them, because i want to know if im crazy or not, lol :laugh2:
thx in advance,
Phil
