hi, i recently played a fender 62 strat reissue at the store, and i liked it alot, i wanted to know what you guys think of this guitar overall, and if its pretty true to the original. thanx alot.

Great guitar,love the C neck...it is pretty true to the original....
Cons...I'm not a fan of the 57/62 pickups,and you need to make sure you don't fret out at the 12th to 15th fret areas when doing blues bends due to the 7.25" neck radius...
For the same price...Also look into the American Deluxe strat..This axe has pearl inlays, locking tuners, rounded neck edges, stays in tune better, 9.5 radius neck with a modern curvature comfy neck....Again...The pickups need replaced,as I don't care for the Noiseless pickups either...
I have an American Deluxe and the 62 Reissue....I Put a complete set of Texas Hot Antiquities in mine..
If you need all out vintage look,vintage bridge,vintage tuners,and the 7.25 neck,go with the 62 RI....
If this isn't everything you need,do check out the American Deluxe strat..Both are great axes ....
The 62 is an alder body and the AD can be either ash or alder...Best of luck to you...The AD can have either maple or rosewood,but the 62 is only rosewood.
