Looks like a Dinky mixed with a Squier '51. Interesting, although the Strat jack is an ugly feature and looks cheap imo. The Fenders would look sweet with a black pickguard. I really don't like the inlays on the Jacksons, the black on maple just looks crappy.

Just so you know, The pickguard is from a soloist jackson did for Jeff beck in the mid 80s. It was bright orange with an ebony fingerboard, dot inlays, three aps singles and a black floyd.

I like the idea of Zebra humbuckers with a cream middle pickup. I'm not a fan of popsicle colors though. I guess my taste leans more toward earthtone colors.
I actually sold my silversparkle tele, just cause I needed sunglasses to play it.
Those guitars remind me of Robin guitars from the 90's. Are those midline or highline guitars?

Gearjoneser, I just made them on Kisekae Guitar or whatever. Then I just photoshopped them real quick to put them together.
It's the vision that I've had of the ideal "Biu guitar" for quite sometime. Now it's just a matter of saving up the $$$ to build one from Warmoth parts. Last time I checked, all that stuff would cost around $900-$1000 or more, so it'll be a while before I can even think of building it. :yell:

I think an orange strat would be great. My pickups would probably be along the lines of a P90 bridge, single coil middle, and a minibucker neck. P90 growl is just awesome for raw rock and roll. A single coil in the middle selected alone can usually do great rhythm strumming and the neck minibucker would offer lots of warmth and sing (definitely good for jazz).

Yeah, a mounting ring for the neck pup would look pretty sweet. I'll look into that. Would it be too high because of the pickguard? That was my concern in the first place.

You'd be surprised :laugh2:... what looks bad online may look GREAT in person. I saw a few Floyd Rose guitars today and they looked awesome. I was tempted to play them, but I was too busy trying out all the amps with my Grosh (which I know I will be holding onto).

bout the pickguard, it's diferent, you dont see such scratchplates pretty much anywhere and it's say its you =) so, why not, it doesnt look THAT bad
