I've bought two Gibsons recently from the Stratosphere, a 70s Tribute SG in historic Cherry, and a 50s Tribute LP in Wine Red. The SG which sells for $999 cost me about $750 total, and the LP ($1099 I think) will come in at about $850 including a B7 Bigsby. Of course YMMV depending on what parts you get. I've bought quite a few Fender parts from the Stratosphere too. Some people think they are overpriced, and maybe they are, but I rather like putting stuff together and being able to configure it how I want even if it ends up costing more in the end.
