what does it mean when my strat buzzes?

sorry for asking for so many questions but ive had my strat for 5 years .. got a setup done last summer and ive gone through maybe 3 pairs of strings since then. implaying alot more now and going to get back into my side projects with guitars.

I noticed when I changed my strings my fretting of chords buzzes quite a bit.

How do i fix this, new frets? lube the nut? check the saddle.

Ill be playing single notes and esp on the first 5 frets I hear some buzzing.
My guitar still has its good feel all through the various mods that its gone through ( like saddle changes, tuner changes..from a guitar tech).

anything i should watch out for. Its not as quiet as new guitars I play at guitar center.

did you change the gauge of strings you were using? if you did it's probablly just in need of a new set-up. i sort of doubt you need new frets though. good luck with your problem.

is it fretting out when you fret the string? If so, then you need a neck adjustment.
