Alnico II pro APS-2.
Personally I would rather a Classic Stack to this, so much quieter.

I have a set out of an old EB/MM Albert Lee sig model.

They're kind of like an underwound APS-2/APS-2/Twangbanger set with smaller than normal magnets (diameter, that is).

They're very clean sounding with a sweet sparkly top end and tight, twangy lows. Very cool for Knopfler-esque stuff.

I dont use any right now, but I like the SSL-1 set, and APS-2 in neck/middle is always great :)

But i do not own a Strat . . . :D . . . not for me !

I want to get that for my Gibbo Melody Maker.

APS IIs... I was a bit iffy on these being able to give a bright, clear tone when I got them first (especially in the neck position) but remarkably, they sound just as SCs should, but meatier and spongier, and lose no clarity whatsoever, and never mud out.

SJag-1s. Sound much more organic and springy than the stock CIJ singles, take distortion much better, squeal less... a decent bit of improvement, and I think I like them slightly better at least than AV singles, which I've however played only briefly.

I owna few SJM-2s too... Someone buy them from me :D

I use a APS in the neck position of my CIJ Strat. It sounds a bit dull, flat and lifeless to me, but after cranking my amp today, I realized that those qualities helps it from becoming ice-picky and harsh when the volume is loud. I'd like a pickup with a bit more fullness, warmth, "howl" and chime. Gonna try a Fender Texas Special next!

SSL-1& 2 bridge , middle, neck. APS-1 bridge. Five-Two middle, Antiquities Surfer Neck.

I have three with singles in the neck middle and one of those is a three single. Two have SSl-1's in the neck middle one with a A8 Custom in the bridge and one with a Lil 59. The other one has a Dimarzo set up Blue Velvets neck and middle with a Norton in the bridge.
For three singles I used a SSL-3 in the bridge or a SSL-5. In hindsight I wish I had gotten SSL-2's instead of the 1's for a better string ballance with the flat boards on my Washburn USA's.

bridge - JB Jr. - awesome hottt ceramic humbucker
middle - Duckbucker - awesome Strat-toned humbucker
neck - Lil 59 - awesome: makes a Strat sound like a Gibson

I have used the quarter Pounder flat. Loved it! Look forward to future use.

Same for the lil 59, although it isn't a SC.
