I am wanting to get some new pedals and was wondering what you guys use. I am looking for a wah, distortion, delay, and tuner. What other pedals do you suggest, and what brands do you like the best.

Distortion, Delay, Octave and I'm think about adding a Rotovibe to the mix.

Overdrives various kinds, delay, phaser, chorus, cleanbooster, I am trying to get a flanger and an octavia ringmodulator and a fuzz(probally going to build that myself, likewise the flanger will probally be build by my productionchief)

Delay, Phase, Univibe, Wah, clean boost and on occasion some whammy stuff. I have both individual pedals as well as line 6 and boss multi stuff, both of which I like quite a bit. In the bang for your buck department the Line 6 stuff is tough to beat. Extremely tweakable with lots of tonal options. You can tweak beyond the original versions they model.
If you hit my link my tunes are about 90 percent Boss ME 50 fronting my Plexi RI.( delay, phase, Wah and Whammy, depending on the tune you hit) On the song Invasion From Planet K it is the Line 6 for Univibe and Phase with a Carlsbro TR60 amp.

Only thing I use is a wah pedal, my HRD has reverb and that's all I need.

I'm totally happy with my pedalboard now. I just did an extensive job of designing, wiring, bracing, and ziptying it all down tight. I'll post pics of it, soon.

OR silent tuner, which cuts off the amp signal. Also, a Voodoo Lab PPII power supply.
out to a vintage ADA Flanger
finally, into a Fulltone Choralflange, mono out to the Bogner halfstack, or stereo out to the Bogner + another amp.

Occasionally, I use a Boss PS-5 Super Shifter for subtle de-tuning to thicken my tone.

um... nothing unless i have to use delay for harmonies (i have a weird delay solo - i'm gonna post it tonight or tomorrow morning) and reverb on recordings on my lead sound.
live nothing except some light delay on my clean sound, because reverb doesnt work so well live it seems to make your guitar dissapear.

I have the Xotic AC Booster which is a great overdrive/distortion pedal. Very amp like. The RC booster is cool as a clean boost or adding a little grit. I also use the HBE Powerscreamer, which is like a TS9 on Steriods, a HBE Compressor Retro, and a Dunlop 535Q wah. All very versitile sounding pedals that work great. What I like about that wah is the voicing possibilities with the 5 position selector and variable Q

I use pretty much all Boss pedals (Metal Zone Distortion Pedal, Acoustic Simulator, etc...). Eventhough each boss pedal specializes in only one sound, it gives you the best quality of sound for one effect. As for the multi-effects units they provide you with a variety of different effects, although each effect lacks its best potential quality of tone. Line 6 however provides great tone in their multi-effects units, unlike digitech, and other companies that make multi-effects units. I would really recommend Boss Pedals and Line 6 effects (POD effects unit). :headbang:

I agree with 7th. Having to much of your effects going just drowns out your guitar.

Chorus and OD. I've used all sorts of effects in the past but find I can do without them now.
