I always thought the Humbucker neck Tele was called the Tele Custom, with that 3+3 pole piece pickup that SD makes a version of.
Just a guess however, i'm sure the experts will chime in shortly.

are you referring to a tele with the usual tele bridge pickup and a humbucker in the neck? this is the 72 custom viewaskew is talking about.

regular US teles are routed HSH ... well, I can't remember the bridge for sure, but the neck has an H route

Not quite.
The 50's and 60's Classics are not, nor is the '69 Thinline re-issue.
