what goes well with the APS-2?

I have the alnico pro 2 flat on the neck of my strat, i intend to change my mid and bridge stock pups but im really not sure what goes well with it , any suggestions? was thinking a lil 59 in the bridge but im not sure.... :blackeye:

Another APS-2 in the mid would do it.

As far as what bridge pickup you want, do you want a humbucker or a single coil?

If you want a single, Another APS-2 would work well. I have a very similar set to this in my MIJ 62 RI strat and I love the sounds I get from it.

As far as humbuckers go, an APH would be great, or for more output, a Custom Custom.

I use the APS-1 (same pickup, just has staggered poles instead of flat) in the neck and middle position of my strat, with a Twangbanger in the bridge.

what about a single coil sized humbucker, would the little 59 or JB jr go well with the APS ?
