What Hiwatt amps did Townshend and Alex Lifeson use?

So I'm watching a Who video and I saw that Pete Townshend used a Hiwatt amp that looks very similar to the one Alex Lifeson is using in my Rush poster. Does anybody know what Hiwatt amps these were?

I've heard Jimmy Page used Hiwatt too, but I haven't seen him use them.

Pete used the CP103 which is basically a cut down PA head. Pretty basic for HIWATT standards.

Lifeson used standard DR103

Page used a custom HIWATT of which he had 2-3 made. These had a footswitch controlled volume cut. A guitarist would use it like a boost pedal, but from a technical standpoint it is actually a volume cut.

the hiwatt front panel is plastic, like a 3 ply pick guard, so its actually really easy to make special ones

i don't know about the other two guys, i'd assume townshend used all of the hiwatt models along the way.

the whole lotta led site isn't very accurate regarding the HIWATTs.

the amps made today with the hiwatt badge have little more than the name in common with real HIWATTs. Their marketing claims are very misleading.

Their so called CP103 and 504 suck compared to real HIWATTs.

I have a 1969 CP103 that really screams.

The who tabs site is more accurate than the Zep site, they have continued to correct errors in their info.

that's a bummer.. I don't get to see too many HIWATTS around here.. a 20w Class A sounds like it would be perfect..

^ Same here. I've never seen a Hiwatt in person. I can't find any local stores that can even get it in stock. Maybe I'd have to ask, but you'd think it would at least be on their websites.

I'm pretty sure he used it in the earlier Zep years. I've heard people mention it before. I'll check.
