You have almost 1600 posts. You're kidding right?:dunno:

It's a JB wound by a person that has a last name starting with a J.

JB wound by MJ (I think!)

Jolly, Im quite clear on what a JB is. :bigok: But the second J threw me off. Normally stickers on pickups have the numerical product number. So, I would expect this to say SH4 or TB4. Or JB. But I wondered if the JBJ was something special as it was standard in this USA washburn..

So, wasnt being a total dumbbell

Re: What is a JBJ??

I seriously thought you were just playing around.:)

LOL! no, I wouldnt waste space for a goof around. I pulled the pup out (just to see what it is) of a USA made Washburn (95 MG designed by Grover Jackson) and its a JBJ. I wanted to see if it was some kind of special wind as the guitar is pretty special.

Thanks all for the input!

Re: What is a JBJ??

A pre-2002 JB wound by MJ. I've got one myself from the 80's in my Kramer. It's not the stock one but same specs as what was stock, reverse-zebra and standard spaced.
