What is on your pedal board?

Re: What is on your pedal board?

gj, are you using the klon on the variable voltage output of the pp2? if not what, if anything, are you using on that? i use it on a super fuzz, which i seem to have left off my list. at full voltage its only ok but at lower voltage its much nicer.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

On my "old school" rig, I have: Fender POS tuner -> BOSS Blues Driver -> Dunlop Hendrix Wah -> Mesa DC-3. I don't have a pedal "board" per se, I just throw them down on the floor/stage and cross my fingers. I also have the DC-3's switch there.

I am using this until I find a suitable solution to my PODxt amplification problem. Once that's accomplished, my "pedal board" will be the Line6 FBV Short Board.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

Boss TU-2

Tube Screamer of some nature.

....that's it. If I'm feeling gratuitous then a Wah pedal gets thrown in the mix. But usually I feel like I need to make apologies after I get going on it so it stays home.

There's nothing like being able to walk into a gig with a combo amp and all the effects and cabled you'll need tucked into the back of the amp in one hand and an axe in the other.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

Boss TU-2 Tuner
Hermida Mosferatu
Hermida Zendrive
Boss DD-20

EDIT: My amp's footswitch usually resides in the bottom right, but I'm in the middle of trading for a new amp at the moment. I'd also like to add either a fuzz or a compressor eventually, and I'll be set.

I never used a wah when I had one, it won't look so empty once the new amp gets here :).

Re: What is on your pedal board?

too much crap lol...i'm still waiting on my custom 2 loooper to bypass all or some of it...and need to order more george L's...but for now it's...

BOSS TU-2, morley tremonit wah, digitech whammy, MXR EVH phase 90, BOSS OC2, MXR ZW-4 wylde overdrive, custom home built Primal Scream 808 clone, BBE sonic stomp (not pictured...old pic), BOSS NS-2...those are in front of the amp. in the loop are BOSS BF-2 Flanger, Boss DD-3 delay, EH holy grail reverb. the other two i don't use much (on the side of the board) are the dime wah and my spina modded 1979 MXR distortion +

also pictured is the Engl Z-5 footswitch for the powerball controls and the peavey ultra plus pedal.

now all i need is that 2 looper so i can either, leave everything on, or bypass the FX in front of the amp, or bypass the FX in the loop or any combo.

I have the Klon and Mudhoney on the variable outputs of the PPII, but to be honest, I can't remember if they're backed down or full up???? It's been so long since I've messed with it, since it's buried under the shelf. I should mess with it tonight, especially on the Mudhoney.

The only thing I don't like on my board is the fact that the shelf blocks access to the wah pedal's power jack, so I use a battery on the Clyde Deluxe.
I need to drill a hole through the side of the shelf, or something.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

-Boss TU-2
-VOX 847
-DiGi Tech WH-1 (not a reissue)
-Boss Octave
-Duncan Pickup Booster
-Lovetone Brown Source
-Pro Co Rat
-Duncan Tweak Fuzz
-Small Stone
-Electric Mistress
-Boss Tremolo
-Boss Delay (DD-5)

I am waiting on a loooper to loop the Brown Source and the Booster (I never use one or the other, I use them like they are one pedal). I am also gonna either add an EH Memory Man or swap the DD5 for a Memory Man, and then Im gonna add either a Dyna Comp or an Analog Man compressor.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

you're stuck waiting on a loooper from David too huh? i've been waiting freakin' 7 weeks for my damn custom loooper. he said it will ship this week though. thank god! i know he told me he had some family and personal problems and all but 7 weeks is nuts for something o simple. i should have just made it myself. oh well at least it will be all nice and powdercoated with some cool led colors.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

I have not acually ordered yet...I've called him several times, and I have never actually spoken with him...I did get one email telling me that he was busy, so Im holding off until he's not so busy and until I decide exactally what I want!

Re: What is on your pedal board?

wait until i get mine before you order. he seems nice and gets back to me via e-mail ASAP but this is starting to worry me that it's been so long. i honestly could build what he is making me in 1 hour if that. i don't know what the deal is. i'm pretty sure he is legit, and is just honestly having personal problems. i'll let you know when mine gets here to give you the A OK to order hehe.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

David is legit, he's just very bogged down for one and if he says he has personal issues I'm sure he does. Last year when I ordered an A/B box from him it took a few weeks, he's a busy man.

yeah i figured he was legit. i have just been getting upset about a 7 week wait. which he was very sorry for. he's been through hell though with a family issue and a automotive issue so i did cut him some slack...but i wish he would have told me 2 or 3 weeks in when it started so i could have just built it myself and cancelled the order instead of waiting 7 weeks. oh well.

MXR Dyna Comp
Boss DS-1(Spina modded)
Boss OS-2
Ibanez TS-9
Boss GE-7
Digitech RP50

Re: What is on your pedal board?

as for David at LOOOPER I have heard NOTHING but great things, but I have to admit, another reason I am holding off is I am thinking about getting a mac daddy loop/switcher/tuner/bypass box from Analog Mike at analog man when I order my compresser!

Here's one for ya. Dave sells Looopers as amp switchers and tells folks they won't have ground loop problems.

He's wrong. That suggests he's either incapable of learning or he's spreading doo-doo.
:cussing:
His pedals are good for loop switching, though.

Re: What is on your pedal board?

Maybe i'll go with Analog man after all!
