JB = full width humbucker for your Les Paul or SG (or rerouted Strat pickguard!)

JB Jr = single width humbucker for direct drop-in to your strat pickguard, etc.

I believe there are slight tonal differences, as to what, I'm not too sure. Perhaps a wise SD member would be able to chip in?

i have the same question regarding tone. How is the JB Jr. neck compared to a Jazz neck?
