Hmmmm... too many to fit on one Rushmore, methinks. But if I had to limit to 4, I’d have to go with:
Rickenbacker 330/360
Gibson Les Paul
Fender Telecaster
PRS Custom 22/24
If I were allowed a 5th, it would likely be a Jackson Sharkfin V (on behalf of shred-sticks everywhere)
While I’m a fan of Parker’s (I really enjoy my Nitefly Mojo), they aren’t wide enough acceptance to be on the my list.
Obviously, Tele is really Tele/Strat, and LP is practically all of the classic HB models (335, Jr, V, Explorer, etc.)
Rickie may be a controversial choice, but for me, they’re a standout originator, so deserving of that spot on the mountain.
And, I guess I should state that I didn’t even consider acoustics - that’s a whole other monument on its own!
