What is the SD pickup that sounds closest to dirtyfingers?

Re: What is the SD pickup that sounds closest to dirtyfingers?

I have a Marshall AVT-50 amp and a Line 6 Spider Jam amp, but I set those on clean and use the sounds/effects of my Avid Eleven Rack:

I usually use the Avid Eleven Rack straight into my Pro Tools software for practice/recording. I use the Artist Preset “SS Solo” (as is) for solos. I downloaded some Randy and Eddie Van Halen presets, but I haven't bothered to load them in, so I'm not fanatic about replicating anyone's particular sound. I just wanted to give you an idea of the sounds that I prefer.

I usually use the "SS Solo" Artist Preset (as is) for solos. I don't really have to tweak the EQ very much with my Gibson guitars, like I have to with the 12-String Ovation. Marshall settings (before I got the Eleven Rack) Highs on 10, Mids on 6, and Lows 3-4.

I really appreciate everyone's help. You all have been great. With all your help I am leaning toward to JB or the Distortion. I am not sure what the difference is between the JB TB-4 and the SH-4. PATB-2 was recommended, as well. Despair said that the PATB-2 seems to have the best qualities of a lot of the popular SD pickups without the drawbacks in this thread:

Oh man, XPL, I wish I wasn't an idiot (I sold mine).

I like the idea of an Invader and 2 volumes, but the Invader might be a bit much (too dark & grindy) for what you described. The Duncan Distortion might be too top endy. I'd like to comment on the Nazgul and Black Winter, but I can't yet, so I'll say a Super Distortion or 500T is what I think you should be looking at.
