What is the smallest "power" amp?

Mooer Baby Bomb as mentioned, probably cleaner than the EHX ones too. Or, ISP Stealth if you want Watts per Square Inch, I have the 180W Stealth.

OMG - Mooer makes one of those too!?!?!?!?!

Perfect!!!!!

Bruce - the EHX .44 was the first one I was thinking of. I was wondering if anything even smaller though. Apparently so!

Could I run a 4x12 off that???

I've driven a 4x12 with a Vox Lil' Night Train. I'm sure the EHX will drive one as well.

The only thing that worries me is I am assuming these pedals are class D. A 22-watt Fender Deluxe will get me above the drums. I do not know if a 20 - 44 watt class D amp will do the same.

I carry a Crate Powerblock as a back up. I've used a single side of it (75w Class D) and it can get me *well* above a loud drummer and bassist if I'm not careful with it.

Tiny as they may look keep in mind you may need a power supply and you may need to place it somewhere on or underneath the pedalboard. I mean the amount of current needed is way beyond what your typical pedal power supply can handle.

I have always thought of doing this. CAn't believe they stopped making them.

The real issue with the Class D amps is they lack the headroom to really be loud enough. IMO/IME with the EHX .22 Caliber and others in the same power range, the lack of headroom doesn't make them great for a stand-alone amp unless you plan on setting it to the side and mic'ing it up through the PA so you can really hear it. These things need to be "clean" since they are supplying the power amplification. And Class D amplification clipping by itself is not a pleasant sound. That's my 2 cents.

Now, I have not tried the Quilter so it's totally possible that Pat has changed the game, yet again. He makes great stuff.
