What is wrong with the amp (Newbie Question)

Hola,

I was looking at buying an amp used. I was playing a roland micro-cube (5" speaker) which I liked, however, I think it has an issue... bad speaker maybe? Whenever I played a B, B#, Bb the speaker put out this rattle/fuzz/buzz.

All other notes sounded fine. I'm amp illiterate so I don't exactly know what would cause that type of issue or whether it is something easily remedied. i.e. if it is an easy fix I might be able to talk down the price and have it work out well.

Would this be something where I could just replace the speaker or use the the amp to drive a slightly bigger speaker?

thanks for any info

Some gear put together will have a frequency that will shake the gear. Seems like that's what happened to you. Try another guitar perhaps and see if it continues, it'll prob still be there but maybe a little less.
