I guess you could say these two are the prettiest looking modern guitars I have. The Tele is an Mahogany body with flame Maple cap, and Koa / Ebony neck. Was very fortunate in that she plays like buttah.
The Strat is a Alder body with Quilt Maple top and a 5A Flamed Koa / Ziricote neck, but it needs fretwork.
It's unfortunate they both are kind of tone dead.
I'm 100% sure the pickups and hardware on these guitars cost more than most of cost of the entire guitar junk I see most people have here here.
I'm soooooo happy for you guys who construct cheap GFS and the like guitars that sound ( and play) Soooooo great.:earl:;

What I think is my best and what others think might differ. I change on occasion too as to what is my favorite. Currently I'm think this 2005 Hamer Studio Custom I call Elvis, cause it arrived on Elvis' birthday, is my favorite when I first read the OP's prompt. It has a Korina body and neck with many added goodies including the Quilted Maple top. The Trans Amber just pushes it to Golden Goodness for me. :notworthy
