What is your dream amp?

A Fender Deluxe with bassman tonestack or Marshall JTM sound with all of the Mesa Mark V features would complete me

I love this video because the guy doesn't say anything or draw any conclusions. He just lets you hear the differences in the amps. They both sound amazing, but I am sure you know which way I lean.

I'm building mine!!! It is more or less an AC30 mixed with some Trainwreck, mixed with my own special sauce. An amp that will do cleans, nail the mean, and everything in between. Throw a pedal in front of it and it can be anything you want.

The only one's I've played have been a Multiwatt and recently a Rev G...and both would be just fine
Yeah, I'd be fine with any recto, TBH. Even the 3 channels that everybody hates. Matter of fact, that's really the only one that I've somewhat thoroughly played. But I've heard the clips of the different revisions, and since we're alowed to dream in this thread, I might as well get picky. :D

No dream amp since I got my Mesa Stiletto. Didn't know it was my dream amp then, but I do now.

My amp GAS list is pretty small

1. A2555 or 2525 Marshall head, with matching cab
2. An SLO in Snakeskin
3. JCM900SL-X

Like Bruce, don't care if I ever get them. Nice to have have, but don't need.

Mine is either a Rev F Dual or Triple Recto or a Krank Rev 1, the OG with 5881's.

LOL, I guess I don't have fancy standards.

How about yours?

Rex...it's totally your fault by posting this thread that got me all fired back up for a Marshall JVM.....
so
#1 curse you for helping cause me so much gassss...... And,
#2. (Much more seriously) Thank you so very much for helping me aquire one of my dream amps!!!

*Sniff *sniff..... I'll never forget you man....

Hahahaha, I'd love to get a JVM for myself as well. Congrats on the amp, man!

both great amps, but different. jc sounds more scooped and hifi to me. thought the seasick chorus was fun to hear

That is by design. The engineers wanted an amp without warmth, thus giving a more neutral baseline for a pedal platform.

Dave built me mine in 2011 before he made his own amps & gizmo's.
200% everything you want a Rock amp to be.
I only wish i could have had it 35 years earlier.
