What is your favorite pedal?

I have never played one, but it already gets high points for graphics and control layout.

All the Klirrton stuff is fantastic. This Grindstein pedal is a beast. It is basically two pedals in one which can technically serve 3 purposes. If you like anything remotely heavy, HM-2 ish then you won't find anything better.

VFE Focus mid-boost. It stacks so well going into other overdrives or distortions. It has no clipping but with the hpf/lpf controls and massive output it can really supercharge any other dirt-pedal or amp while being able to trim the extra junk away from the spectrum. It even has the slope controls and a blend/mix.

VFE stuff is great!

I use no pedals other than utility pedals, you know.. tuner, aby... but my experience is that the KSR Ceres I borrowed off of a guy was pretty garsh darn good.

Wonderful pedal (Preamp) and I know some folks who use it as their rig. It also takes boosts well, similar to a Mesa Rec in response to being tightened up with a boost. The Eros pedal is nice as well. KSR / Rhodes makes some good stuff. Glad you got to play one.

I was thinking of getting a KSR amp of some sort but I won't get to play one so the Ceres gave me a decent preview. We'll see, KSR is going to cost me a decent chunk of my north dollars, maybe just buy the Ceres.

The Ceres is great, I love the KSR stuff I have. I know a few people who use the KSR Power Amp (PA 50 I believe) and the Ceres or Vesta and some boost those with the Eros. You have a lot of options with that rig for your core tones, etc.

Since you are north, have you tried any of the Empress, Fortin or Airis Effects stuff?

NO but I might buy an Empress Heavy, not interested in many pedals or effects at all.

The Empress Heavy is a really cool pedal. I bought two just in case one ever breaks or they stop making them so I can always have a backup. Awesome pedal! It isn't quite as versatile as the Ceres simply because it isn't 3 channels but the two are similar on the gain side as far as tone types and what they bring to the table for the most part.

The Fulltone FatBoost 3 for juicing things up a bit, it does a great job adding girth and sustain without too much hair (unless I want it)

And the Crybaby from Hell, such a great flexible wah. No matter which settings I use it's always smooth but sharp at the same time
