you can add grain type if you wish.Why are manufacturers still making amps that look like they were designed in the 50s?

If it was up to me, everything would be in red. For an amp, I once saw a mesa combo done in red, but the actual finish being flame maple. If not, I'll take red leather like tolex.

I like Orange for it's ability to stand out on a stage. But I also like brown for it's ability to be low key.

I like white, red, purple, and blue alot. I'd really love to redo my amps in a couple of those colors.

I really like white. It has a very sharp look, so I'll vote that way. But I am an ocd vintage nut so it kinda pains me to see a deluxe reverb covered in something other than black tolex... I really want an amp that is somewhere in between my Princeton verb copy and my Fender Tweed Twin so I may go with a Vibrolux Reverb clone or something, or a deluxe reverb. I may have to get it covered in white tolex though, with the blackface plate, I think that would look killin'

Acid Green.....my 2nd choice is white. If I get a 2 12 cab, it will be white. Got a Tech 21, maybe I'll cover that in white.

man that thing is awesome! looks like a $10,000 rig

I think I first saw a green randall head with a matching 2x12/1x15 cab some scott Ian model I think, it just looks freaking baaaadaassss,wanted a green amp ever since

I almost bought some snakeskin tolex to redo my Valve Jr head and cab, Im suprised no love for snakeskin....too 90's I guess

Thanks man. The cab was a trashed Marshall I got cheap, but I spent about 600 bucks on various Celestions inside. I love this green thing! It rocks!

I saw this on eBay a couple of months or so ago. I just had to save the pics. I'd really like to redo mt 5150 so it looked like this one.

Wow - what a great question, but it's impossible for me to answer with only a single color.

I love redheads (and I really like custom color heads with mismatching cabs):

But "boring" black can look very cool with the right grill cloth and faceplate:

I wish I had a picture handy of my dark green Rivera Suprema. That's a great color, too.

But the bottom line, for me, it's too hard to pick a single color as my favorite though I'm really partial to red right now. :)

rofl I love that snakeskin has gone NOWHERE.:jester::jester:

I don't like really obtrusive colors like ORANGE or RED or that ugly light PURPLE that usually comes off as more of a Lavender anyway. That said, I definately still LIKE color, but understated color just seems a bit more classy to me. My new Splawn will be green, but not a puke-ugly-lime GREEN, rather a classy, dark, forest-like GREEN.

Which doesn't look so hot on a blue background but looks better in person.

black is nice if your like me and prolly will ding it all up, black doesn't show the scuffs and dings as much. Music is supposed to be fun, so color is good for stage presence. I like a green matamp, Ill take two please ;)

Two comments..... tucks tongue into cheek.

[1] What kind of a poll is that - there is no BLONDE TOLEX option.
My Bassman is so not talking to you for disrespecting the Blondes.

[2] Tolex is crucial to tone, tolex color more so still.
This may explain why so many manufacturers go with black.
