Im sorry i dont have a picture to upload but my friend just bought a guitar and i couldnt figure out exactly what model it was. It is a black rr jackson with white around the edges, bolt on 22 fret neck with binding on a rosewood fretboard with shark fin inlays. stock zebra jackson humbuckers and a string through body. It has a volume nob, a 3 way pickup selector, and a tone nob. I know it cost under 450. Any ideas?

Re: what jackson model is this?

Sounds like one of the Made In India versions. The advanced Jackson fiends will have a better idea. Needless to say, photographs would help - especially if the guitar has, in any way, been modified.

Is it this one?
Sounds a lot like your friends, only mine has 24 frets and white pups.

Re: what jackson model is this?

What determines that its is made in india

Its not a known japanese configuration (at least not for global market models, japan-only offerings are far more varied), korean rr's are unusual if not nonexistent, and usa is staggeringly expensive not 450

Also almost all japanese and usa models of the last 20 years or so have brandname pickups, with Seymour Duncan/EMG/Designed/Hz prominently labelled on the pup

Many newer cheaper jacksons are india made
