Fender pretty much only uses the A5 and A3 in some of their Tele pickups..

The Eric Johnson Strat has Alnico 3's. Otherwise it's either ceramics on the cheapies or Alnico 5, though I thought they used to use Alnico 2 on some of their American Standard Strats, or whatever came just before the current American Series.

It varies a bit, but most are supposed to be alnico 5. The Nocaster and OV Tele pickups are alnico 3, as are a few others apparently. The Atomic II HBs are alnico 2, but the PG+ is alnico 5. I suppose some of the HBs might be ceramic, as are the MiM Std Strat pickups. If you mean the MiM Standard Strat, they are ceramic mags, but the current and recent MiM Teles are alnico (presumably alnico 5). The American Standards are typically alnico 5 in both Strats and Teles.
