Cool, thanks! Then I'll be ordering a couple of polished and rough A3's to see if I like them better than the stock A2's.

wow...I've been reading all these Phat Cat threads, probably over 20, fram various years...

I think the A2/A2 combination in the neck sounded decent, but the bridge was far too dark. So I am thinking either A4/A8 or A5/A8 for the bridge, and A5/A2 or UOA5/A2 neck for a bit more treble. I'm looking for the warmest/fullest bridge, so I think I'll try A4/A8 first
