What kind of pickup? Acoustic Instruments.

For christmas I got a mountain dulcimer, lap harp and I have a autoharp on the way. I would like a general purpose external pickup that doesn't require modification of the instrument and could be used for all three. I don't wan't a magnetic pickup. Would a sound dot pickup work well or a pzm microphone? I would like to keep things simple.

I have heard good things about the SoundSpots. I think that's what you want.

I figure I will also get a acoustic eq/preamp. I will put the eq/preamp in a project case with 1/4 inch input and outputs.
