i just wanted to know what everyone thought, i am having my g&l legacy cutomized, i play rock, funk and jazz, what would be a good set of pickups? i was thinking the sh-1 59 might be a good set, i have heard it is a little bassy and that is what i want on the bridge position for a thick distortion sound, but is it over kill on the low end in the neck position, should i put a alnico 2 in the neck position instead, and do these sh-1's rock heavy if it is needed, and then cleanup when needed, i know the jb rocks but i feel it does not have enough low end fullness, that is why i am thinking of sh-1's, i need all around flexable pickup's that can do a little of everything, is this a good selection? has anyone used these on a G&L before, does a neck position sh-1 sound less bassy on a legacy (strat) than on a les paul?
