I'm a newbie here, but I've been playing guitar more than 50 years. Please be patient.
I traded a Vox Student Prince for this guitar about 20 years ago. I love the sound of it, but I have no clue to the manufacturer. The headstock has a mother-of-pearl (fake?) inlay of a butterfly, and on the back is a serial number (I surmise): 559-1410. It's a Les Paul knock-off in a red sunburst finish. I recently changed out the original pickups for SD JBs and installed Grover locking tuning keys. I can tell the wiring is rather old and probably needs replacing. Hums like a MFer in Dirty mode, not so much in Clean.
Anyone have any idea of what make and model guitar this is? :?: Your help is GREATLY appreciated!
