Nuno's were basswood. That heel design is sick. String-thru..love that.

The heel design was used on other Washburn models, too, and is a really great idea. It is something that should be more popular and show up on more guitars than it does.

it doesn't even have a top. it's just a slab of ash carved with a forearm contour.

I've always loved the Stephen's Cutaway neck heel design. I've had many of them (N series and non-N series too. Pretty interesting pickup switch on that Nele actually.
