The "single coil" is an STK-S1 Classic Stack. At that time the only non-CS stacked pickups were the STK-S1 & S2 Hot Stack which has a single blade instead of pole pieces.

I just pulled out an old custom out of my drawer, its a non logo pup and says DCJ on the bottom, I'm thinking I bought it in 83-84 any ideas?

These could some of the very last ones or were on the dealers shelf for some time, because since '83 they should carry the backlogo.
