What Model Of Duncan Pickup Is This?

I stumbled across a used SD zebra humbucking that has unusual wiring. It has a single,vintage-style ground-braided wire & hot, but with a single plastic-coated green wire. Anyone happen to know what model of pickup it is?

Someone could have replaced the wiring, or it could be a fake. Please post a pic.

Sorry for the late response. I was having problems with my computer.

My labeling on pickup. Some how I got different output readings.

i would guess its a coil split, but youd want to put a meter to it to figure out what it is. its not stock

Probably a coil split as Jeremy said.

I've only seen some stock PRS pickups done up like that, but this one definitely didn't leave the SD factory like that.

If I had to hazard a guess on the model, probably a '59 neck.

With the tape wrap onto the baseplate and 7.46k, I think it's a modded '59 Model.

What do I do with the green wire? It measures at 7.46k (or 7.29k) when ignoring the green wire. Do I just tape it off and call it good? It is a very nice sounding pickup, very warm.

Measure the green wire to ground. It will probably be about 3.7k. Tape it off so it doesn't touch anything. You may want to use it someday.

As mentioned, just tape it off so it doesn't touch anything. You only would need it if you wanted to split the pickup.
