Re: What neck pup would pair well with a Screamin' Demon?
The 59n might actually be a better match.
I have been struggling with the demon for a couple of years in Les Pauls. I love it as a bridge pickup, only problem is getting a neck pickup that doesn't disappear in the mix when switching off the Demon.
I did the Demon / Jazz neck combo and the Jazz did not stand up.
I settled on a Demon / Demon for a while and put in shorter pole pieces in the screw coil for the neck
Many have said to try the Full Shred neck and I want to try that.
You have to remember that Lynch's typical setup is to have the Demon with a neck single coil!!
So maybe I would also try a StagMag, with a triple shot ring, in the neck.
