BTW Curly, that Maxon OD820 looks like a mean pedal!

Forgive me for disagreeing, but my TS-7 sounded like sh!t until John tweaked it. It was very buzzy and digital sounding. Now it sounds almost identical to the TS-808 clone in the Route 66 from Visual Sounds.

Chip

I love my stock TS7...sounds great through a Blue Angel- I keep the hot switch on.

Line 6 DM4 Distortion Modeler

Don't laugh until you try it. I have a "real" TS-808 and a "real" Fuzz Face (germanium and all...) and you cannot tell the difference between these and the models. These sit at home now and I only have to have one pedal for both (along with a Rat and a Colorsound!).

Lou,

Thanks for sharing - (sorry guys if this is off topic), but that is one hella of a lovely guitar. I knew you would be pleased with it and personally I am really happy that you got it and that it is giving you what you want. I am passionate about Hamer guitars and I must say that the Artist Customs are very good value, I just wished that I had bought mine earlier (it was number 4 in the series).

Should you ever think about selling it (god forbid!!) would you be so kind as to give me first option? You deserve a lot of joy and happiness and hopefully this guitar will be that and more.

Your friend
Norman

Hey Norman

Thanks for the kind words friend. The seller has contacted me wanting to have first shot at buy back a few days after he sold it to me. I will give you second. But as you said God forbid. I really think I will be just keeping this one.

Maxon OD-9. Similar tone to the 808, but more gain and a larger sweep on the tone control.

Re: What overdrive are you using?

Lou, that is one sweet looking guitar you have there, 'bro! I'll bet it plays like a dream.
Oh, by the way, John's gonna do MY TS-5 BEFORE he does any of yours. SO THERE!!!

Man, that's one I don't think I could ever part with!

Re: What overdrive are you using?

Using a HBE Powerscreamer. Officially retired the TS9 with this one. Killer pedal.

Also just ordered Xotic AC and RC Booster. Should be cool additions.
