What Phasers Are Yall Using?

This thing doesn't have a "stun" setting. Starts at KILL and goes up...NOT your daddy's Phase 90!

For the record, I actually dig the 3 Stage most

I have a TC Helix and a GGG Phase 45 from a kit that I add a switch for Univibe mode. The MXR Phase 95 covers all the MXR bases, if I was buying another one I would buy that or the EVH version. I also use the model on my GT-1000, nice to just have a bunch of nice effects in one box.

EH Small Stone. my main gig is Country. For those times, and they're pretty few, that we play a Waylon Jennings tune or something else from the 70's, it's a good go-to. I actually like it very much. Great for Pink Floyd and early Rush stuff too.

Sorry I've been away for a minute. Why is the EVH 90 even a thing? I thought Eddie used an original phase 90, without any mods. A cash out on the name I guess?

There are a lot of companies that clone/copy the Phase 90. Phaser isn't especially difficult or expensive to reproduce.

Oddly, my three favorite phasers come from Yamaha. The ones in my twin THR10's, then in my MagicStomp MKII, and my old FX-500. All Yamaha. Come to think of it, my favorite motorcycle was also a Yamaha. An '82 Midnight Virago. Yamaha gets some things right.

MXR Phase 90s with the block logo sound different now than the older Phase 90s with the script logo. The EVH has a switch which toggles back and forth between the old script logo sound and the more modern block logo sound.

Didnt Yamaha have the 80s Harley Davidson knockoof
the Rebel or some such?

Oh and Yamaha has some great acoustics too

The Rebel is Honda. But yes, the Virago was (trying) to be a Harley clone. But they dropped the line. Only the little 250 V-Star remains.

The Joyo Vintage Phase is under $40 in Amazon. It's a clone of the MXR Phase 90. Sounds great from the demo's I've seen. I have a MXR Custom Shop Script but it's battery powered only and no LED. For under $40, the Joyo is a great option. I will be snagging one of those myself.
